    Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of the Primary Schools in Dingle ?

My 7 year old son is starting into ranga do in his Gaelscoil and is very happy there but we are considering moving to Dingle either this September or next september.

The only thing holding us back from going immediately is that his current school is so good. We would be moving to Dingle do do more Sailing/Surfing/Climbing/fishing.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this ? If there is a better forum to post this in please let me know.

    thanks

He'll definately get good fluent Irish from going to school here. I wouldn't recommend going to the boys primary school, the Irish wouldn't be as good. Any of the primary schools west of the town (in the real Gaeltacht) would be better, and he'd get more attention due to lower numbers. Check out the primary schools in Muiríoch (12mins away by car) or the one in Glens (5 mins away) or Ceann Trá (10mins away).
