Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi ,I'm just wondering what the general thoughts are on cycling in enclosed parks that aren't signed very well for cycling.
The park that sticks in my mind is St.annes off the coast road in dublin.

I need to get back on my bike soon and I'm not sure of the do's and dont's.

    Thanks.

By and large cycling is against the by-laws of the parks.

Its also not really safe for other park users - little kids and the like. If nervous try the cycle path in Clontarf or the closed roads in the phoenix park.

St Anne's and the Phoenix park are ok. St Annes have signs for the pedestrians to watch out for bicycles :D , to be honest I only use them when I bring my kids for a cycle. Unless you really are starting from 0 you would be better heading out from clontarf on the cycle lane if you are thinking St Anne's

St Anne's is great for cycling. I used to bring the MTB up there for some fun. Theres some great drops overlooking the car park at bull island and the parkies are bike friendly.

There is a development plan for proper MTB and leisure routes in there & there may also be some non official fun to be had in there too ;)
