Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

City will be challengers this season looking at that squad.

Johnson has proven tonight that the potential is there for him to be the solution to Englands worries on the left. He's been arguably the best player on the park tonight, incisive and mazing runs are just some of the fine additions he's brought to the City attack, he'd have been the perfect replacement for Giggsy.

To be honest, he had done enough by the end of last season to be on the plane to South Africa. Capello's worst decision was not bringing him imo.

City look nailed on to me for top 4. Going to be hard for Liverpool to challenge for CL spot. Just don't have enough players of sufficient quality.

Any lingering thoughts of Liverpool qualifying for the Champions League this year have just gone out the window.

I assume Villa are getting relegated so , yeah?
My hubby said "so does Reina, picking the ball out of the net"!!!:p

Johnson's looking a decent player, gets better with each game, from the ranks of the Citeh youth set up too... I suppose that means he'll be a make weight in a deal for a proper "superstar", possibly Kaka next summer.

    Glazers Out!

Early days yet, Spurs looked better than them last week. Liverpool have been very poor tonight.

    Liverpool are shocking tonight though.

Anybody else think if Masch & Aquilani were on things would be a good bit different??

What the **** was Lucas at there? Standing in a 2 man wall a leaving a player on the edge of the box in exactly the position youd want to be shooting from.

The horrible thing is that half these players didn't even know who Man City were about 5 years ago and now they might be going on to win the league with them.

    Adam Johnson is class.
