well it's hard to reach a fast pace if you're falling over your own legs, I don't think fitness has anything to do with that. one foot in front of the other

I would have agreed with you this time last year, but my God the work he does is unreal. Worth two of De Jong anyway. If he could pass hed be one of the best in the world.

And I think you are wrong, De Jong has been the holding midfielder in front of a defence that conceded 45 goals in the league last season, yeah you are obviously spot on or perhaps I have taken a massive dump on your assertions.
