Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has Ngog or Torres passed it to each other yet?
One lovely little move early on.

If I was a Liverpool fan, I would be very, very worried. When you look at the two teams, it's now completely clear that in just about every position, Man City are superior. Also, I have to say it's quite funny listening to Liverpool supporters downplay Mascherano. After Torres (when on form) and Gerrard (when arsed), he was the third best player at the club. Now he's gone, Man City are just totally bossing their midfield, there's just no one there who can put their foot on the game.

I feel sorry for Hodgson here. The fans will be calling for his head when he inevitably doesn't deliver on 4th place, even though he doesn't have the team or the funds to do it.

Sorry I misread your "Please this embarassing" earlier on as a sleight on mike65's suggestions.

That has to be the way to go. Completely outplayed in the middle.
No, i meant it was embarrasing how we were being outplayed.

Look at the ground he's covering Kess.

He's in there on in his own. I can't mention the reason why, apparently for fear of exposing a ****e player for being utterly ****e.

Yeah it is the fault of Lucas that Gerrard looks crap again today. Maybe that excuse can cover him for all of last season too. Looks more to me that the more limited Lucas is trying to do the legwork and the captain is doing his usual.

In terms of him and Lucas tonight, you would be hard pressed to tell which was the player with the big reputation and which was the more limited player.

Letting Alonso go was the worst mistake by the club in years. At least with Xabi we had a top class CM who could set a tempo and bring others into the game, even when his own game was not at 100%

Masch third best? You have left out Pepe who is easily on par with Torres in terms of importance to the team.

Reina's a good player, but a quality central midfield is always going to be more important than a quality 'keeper.

That last pass from Gerrard typifies(is this a word) why he shouldn't be in the centre.

A 40 yard ball which bounces into the keepers hands.

    Roy, sort it out.

Micah Richards is hilarious. One week he's a complete sham of a player, the next week he's world class.

    Lucas caught ball watching.

Tevez backtracked then moved forward, Lucas followed him then just stood when Tevez went forward.
