Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It seems mighty strange that a first time poster with a suggestive name should post a photo taken at 12 minutes past 8 when the thread only started at 8.35?

    anyway Pete likes it

sure it shouldnt matter if it was taken at 1 minute past 8 or 12 minutes past 8....
This challenge is to provide an image which contains a hand or hands.

    The rules:
*Photos must be posted within 2 weeks of the day the task was set – the closing time/date is 8pm on Sunday 5th September 2010.
*No old photos. Only photos taken with this task in mind qualify.

Therefore, the photo must be taken after 8pm on the 22nd August 2010.
*Photos must be on the given task.
*ONE photo per post. Submit as many posts as you like.
*C&C to be encouraged - but be nice about it!
*Stretch yourself – there is no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.
*The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time(the post must include a photo).

    Best of luck!

so....by my reasoning it is within the set rules, no?

I hope that sorts out any confusion ;)

Now I'm completely confused, does leche solara also like Mike's sandwiches and Noo Sixty's burger? ;)

You've come into this, of all threads, and you drool over sandwiches? :P

Still haven't a clue what's going on by the way.

I'm assuming... Pete is a bloke, possibly with Noozixty in reality (noosixty providing the juggage, I believe). Mike Hunt is a fictional character/account made up just for the sake of having a funny username.

    Or...

There is a Mike, whose surname I doubt is Hunt, and he and Pete are bi, and Noo, Mike and Pete are in a three way relationship together.

    Or...

Noo and Pete talk to each other (either in reality or PM), the picture came from google and they somehow manipulated the exif data, and they're having a laugh making Mike Hunts out of the lot of us.

You should probably re-read the thread, Pete's given a fairly good account of what's going on... although it took me a while to figure out that this was the actual assignment thread! lol

Pete, Mike and Noo are in a relationship together. They also all live with each other. Mikes surname is not Hunt, but would rather a slightly amusing name for an online forum. They all use Nikon cameras. Only one of them uses a Mac. It's a strange house.

    Indeed they are! :)

.... and the Walrus is Paul ..... right?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,624 ✭✭✭✭Fajitas!

No, but I'd assume if they had a 'walrus' it'd be used for some sort of sexual deviency.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,510 ✭✭✭sprinkles

Sure what else is a Walrus for if not for sexual deviancy? That's the main reason I got an extra large bath tub....

I thought I dreamed all this last night - just back now to confirm I did not. Will check again tomorrow.

    Where's my totem...

Well I guess it all kicked off with Mike H's pic.

And as that pic has won the assignment - the real issue now is to get him to set the new assignment.. so if any of his mates are watching - just give him a nudge:)
