Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there an Infrared / dull emitter heater that would be suitable for heating humans?

Strange question, but am trying to figure a way to make my conservatory liveable in the wintertime, without using traditional heating.

I was looking at something like this:

    Heat Lamp

Was wondering would it heat me and the kids if its hung at lightbulb level ie about 8 feet?

I have no idea if 250w would give much heat, was wondering if anyone has any experience of using these type of heating in a vivarium / terrarium?

    Any advice much appreciated!

Would not work - you would need possibly 4 of these & the amount you would spend in electric is a JOKE!

I would suggest a small gas fire that you can the cylinder gas with - would be MUCH better! & heap cheaper!
