Chilli Dog - what sausage & buns to use?

Hello, I want to make chilli dogs for a small gathering next weekend, anyone reccommend good sausages or frankfurters, and which rolls? I`ll make a pot of chilli con carne to spoon on also. I dont think I have had a chilli dog but the thought of it is nice. Regards, Wall

LidlAldi are your only man.

The packs of ten frankfurters on the chilled counters are lovely.

High meat content and cheap price, you can't go wrong.

Alternatively they do packs of german bratwurst which is like a big fat sausage, quite cheap as well.
