    hi.
just wondering does anybody feel sorry at all for all the ordinary working in the banks losing tere jobs while the people that caused alot of the problems either kept their jobs or got huge lump sum payments by retiring.

i work for one of the banks at the moment nobody know our further.. and there isnt any jobs in banks etc at the moment

i am truly sorry for what my bank and others have done to the people.. but im just an ordinary worker.

Why would anyone feel sorry for an ordinary worker in a bank unless there was an exceptional reason like where in Ulster Bank last year a bank clerk got spat on? Yes you'd feel sorry for that person (no more than any employee in any company if that happened to them).

But as regards feeling sorry for them losing their jobs and higher management not losing their jobs.... well that's simple. Yes obviously if you have any heart at all you will empathize with them on some level but in the bigger picture- No! Not at all! You get to higher management generally cause you work harder and smarter. If you just go in for 9am and clock out at 5 or 6pm in an ordinary bank clerk job...... then obviously you are less valuable to the company and therefore more at risk. You are the same as any lower level employee in the country in the same position.

Also, there are jobs to be had in the banks at the moment. May not be very many, or that widespread, but new jobs are available none the less.

Job wise, it's bad in a great number of sectors right now. The banks don't have a monopoly on uncertainty.

Actually there are plenty of jobs in banks going at the moment. Alibet there are being hired on worse contracts than exsiting staff. Still, good jobs if you can land one.
