Any recommendations on a good city centre hotel? I am staying for a weekend in mid September. Something fairly central and reasonably priced.

Does it have to be a hotel? Can it not be a B&B instead? You'd get it a lot cheaper and apart from having someone to lift your luggage to your room and a lot more people annoying you with kids, there's not much difference.
