Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New Season bikes

Well, I'm still waiting for HR to approve my BTW application but Sat last I went to local bike shop where I was told the 2011 bikes will be coming in shortly.

Is this likely to result in significant discounts? Will there be many changes? (are there usually, from year to year?)

Is it better, as well, to go for a 2010 bike? Are there normally discounts for outgoing ranges? Are there normally introductory discounts on new ranges?

In my experience it depends on the shop you go to - I got no discount on the current years model, even though the new range was almost in.
Other shops may be more willing to negotiate but I have found some shops don't have much stock of certain bikes by the end of the "year" as they are selling so well and if you want a particular model you might have to look hard to find it in stock in your size - that was my experience anyway.
I don't believe the new spec bikes will change significantly but it really depends on what type of bike you're after.
