Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Currently I have a Lowepro Nova 2 bag and I just about fit my gear into it, however, I find when heading out for a day I need to carry a back pack too for water, food and rain gear, is there anything out there that would do both?

I'd need to carry my D40s, 3 lens, a few filters. The usual stuff for a hike of about 3 to 5 hours (rain gear, layers of clothes, food and water) and a place to attach my tri-pod.

Your suggestions or recommendations would be most welcome.

If your clothes can be folded up small enough then a Computrekker AW may work for you (note that there are two Computrekkers, a computrekker, and a computrekker PLUS - the plus is huge!).

I have the computrekker and it's comfortable able to hold my Olympus E420 with its 40-150 lens attached, my canon 20d with the 18-55 kit lens attached, and I can also fit my flashgun, 50mm 1.4 canon lens, 14-42 olympus lens and a few other bits and pieces.

However, if you're only putting the three lenses in, then you may get away with using some of that space for your clothing.

There is a laptop section at the back that could probably accommodate some folded rain gear and there is a zip open pocket at the front that could easily take a fairly hefty lunch in it, or chargers etc. and it has pockets inside for memory cards, keys, or whatever other small bits and bobs you may want.

There's also a tripod holder on the front, though it can be fidgety (if thats a real word).

I find amazon reviews are pretty good, so you should take a mooch for lowepro bags on there and see what they're saying.

Personally, I find it very comfortable, and have worn it for hours on end at times (though i haven't worn it anywhere with a laptop in it).
