    all the points a needed went up and i didnt get any offers....:(
    what happens in round 2?
    do i have a better chance of getting a course or not?

    Depends on what courses you were going for and what the demand for them is like. Round 2 offers are for places that were offered in Round 1 and were left vacant because students didn't accept a place on the course. So you might be lucky, but it all depends on what you applied for.

    In the meantime you could look at the courses on the Available Places list on the CAO website. You can apply for any of the courses there from tomorrow noon if you meet the requirements. You don't have to have applied for the course previously.
