How hard is the HPat??

    Ok Im going into leaving cert and would love to know how hard the HPAT is??? And should I do a course on it?? :( I have literally no idea what's in it. Only recently I realised I really wanna do medicine so am I screwed?? Is it too late to start now?? :( How would I go about studying for it and what would help me?? Should I have done this in 5th year??

    Briefly, before you go to the very informative thread mentioned above.

    The HPat is difficult and the points for medicine are very high. Do remember you can get to medicine by doing some science degrees and then moving on to a post-graduate course in medicine - there is such a post-graduate course in UL.

    You can also, to the best of my knowledge, move on from nursing to medicine.
