Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/australian-worlds-team-named

    Elite men road race
Baden Cooke, Allan Davis, Cadel Evans, Simon Gerrans, Matthew Goss, Mathew Hayman, Stuart O'Grady, Michael Rogers, Wesley Sulzberger

Can't believe they're taking Badel Cooke and Alan Davis as named sprinters ahead of Robbie McEwan.

Would have though his form and track record if far better than either of them. Matt Goss is the 3rd sprinter and his form is goo but the other 2 have been relatively anonymous all year...

BTW the Irish team is David McCann for the Road and TT with 2 others (road) not yet confirmed.

Was the Australian team picked by the same guy who said that Simon Gerrans was their best shot at winning it in 2009?

Hausler has declared for Australia and thy left him out, also Renshaw has to be one of the best lead outs in the business.

David mc cann for both road and TT? He has good form atm and has had a great season so far

Yep he's been confirmed for both. we've qualified 1 for the TT and 3 starters for the Road race.
