Sorry for sticking this here, but couldn't find a category that suited, just wondering what's the biggest gaming event that's ever been in Ireland, is it the Games Fleadh down in Thurles?

Here is the thread for the gamer expo Perhaps mods can put this in there. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055983404

Its in citywest in Dublin so handy if your not from Dublin as you dont have to get right into the city. Ive not been to the others so cant compare but this one sounds pretty good, Developers, publishers, LAN wars at it so you will get to see new games and play them.

A number of gaming events would be discussed here.

There have been a number of events ranging in size such as Midlans, Gamecon, LanParty.ie and much MUCH more.

Next biggest one up is that Gamer Expo in Dublin...

WCG (World Cyber Games) is the most internationally recognised gaming event Ireland has ever had, with qualifiers taking place in the Digital Hub. The finals are held in a different country each year, much like the World Cup.

It's currently on hiatus in Ireland, though it will be back in the years to come I'm sure.
