Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ngog is a decent young player. Nothing amazing, but good and always improving. Similar to Lucas.

    I rest my case

How many goals has ngog scored this season? Bet you werent saying what was he for when he scored against arsenal?

He's 21 ffs and leading the line of team that can't create anything.

Neil Mellor also scored a great goal against Arsenal, doesn't mean he's not ****e. In fact there both at about the same level.

    Aurelio off Babel on.

Kelly from left-back offered more than Aurelio going forward.

That was terrible, can't say anyone played well in that 1st half bar Johnson maybe.

None of the Liverpool players look even remotely arsed.

Thought Poulson was decent too but that was really it.

I would say he's a step above him.

For all the sh*t people give him I'd have him over bendtner and marcheda.

Very, very poor from Carragher for that goal too. He was nowhere near the other three defenders and if he had of been, he would have played the Trabzonspor goalscorer offside.

Poulsen and Lucas in CM makes more for a mind numbingly boring match. They offer absolutely nothing going forward. Couple that with a left back playing on the left wing and Kuyt playing on the right and I dunno where any opportunities are gonna come from.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,353 ✭✭✭MR NINE

Also, how has noone ever told Carragher to stop hoofing the ball. If I became Liverpool manager it would certainly be my first move as manager. This entire half has consisted of Poulsen and Lucas passing it to each other, occasionally trying to find Cole and failing, then passing it back to Carragher who then hoofs it up field to return possession to Trabzonspor. I just don't understand how he still thinks its a smart way to use the ball.

Remember anyone who is an eircom customer can watch it on the eircom website and its a really good stream.

I know very little about him but Poulsen looks worse than people were predicting!

    Opr

The two problems I see for Liverpool so far in this game is that Cole and Kuyt seem to be getting in each others way a lot, one of them has to play wider. And there is no movement from N'Gog or very little anyway, if he moves about a bit instead of standing in one spot he gives options. The couple of times he did move about and got the ball he tried to do it all himself instead of laying the ball off and making a run again.

I'll put it to you this way

At half time my feelings about watching the second half were similar to my feelings about watching 2 girls 1 cup.

You don't really want to watch but you feel like you have to

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,160 ✭✭✭tok9

Some chance for N'gog.. should have scored.

This hasn't been pretty.. I hope Babel comes on for Kuyt

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,305 ✭✭✭DOC09UNAM

Great header from Ngog there, worked well to get into a piss easy position and then missed a simple header, unlucky.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 10,117 ✭✭✭✭Leiva

    100% typical NGog ...

    Positional play = spot on.
    Finishing = shoite .

He'll come on and he'll be staring at his ****ing shoelaces, like he always does.

Hodgson has to make a striker his very top priority. If Torres doesn't play, there's absolutely no-one to even try to replace him.
