Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Subs: Cisak, Richardson, Joyce, Turner, Murphy, Boulding, Owens

Newcastle: Krul, Ryan Taylor, Kadar, Tavernier, Ferguson, Ranger, Donaldson, Vuckic, LuaLua, Ameobi, Lovenkrands

Ones to look out for in the Newcastle team for the neutrals

    Ferguson N Irish lad LB/LW
    Ranger Big striker
Vuckic Huge reputation, will probably break into the Newcastle team this year AM
    Krul Excellent young keeper

Ranger looks to be the best player on the park by a large margin

    How are Accrington doing?

I'm watching the Spurs game so don't have Newcastle United Sports (sorry, I mean Sky Sports ;)) on.

As expected, committed, some nice stuff, some not so nice stuff. We are not much better though. Best of the chances for sure. Ameobi is doing a, well, ameobi :)

Just not first choice really. He'll be back up to RB and RM. Average player at best imo.

    LOL @ Streamers.

Gary Birtles is the only one who comes close to Andy Gray in the "I fcuking hate you" category.

Vuckic jumped, led with the arm. Maybe a yellow but never a sending off. Complete over exaggeration by this tit of a commentator.

nah, Vukic jumps up, eyes only for the ball, stanley player comes in mid jump, meets Vukics' backward moving arm plum in the nose

yellow at most (and that would be a partial sympathy vote)

    3:1 unlucky stanley

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

    Bad mistake. Lovenkrands poaching. 3-1

LuaLua looking lively down the left wing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

couple of "mis timed" challenges going in.

    LOL at the Taylor FK

Apparently Ranger is a Violent thug who is liable to explode at any stage.....

From what I've seen of Krul, an injury to Harper could be a blessing in disguise for you lot.

"Chris told me on the phone this morning that he was taking a risk with this team"

Sure he did. If he was any good at his job he'd be instilling confidence to even the most sh*te of players not saying, "I'm taking a risk with you now go out there and give them hell"

I disagree. Every time I've seen him play he's had an excellent game in between the sticks.

Made endless saves when he played in the UEFA Cup that year against Parma, had a good few saves in the Carling Cup last year, opening day of the Championship too and now tonight.

I can't say he's consistent because he hasn't played a string of games to really judge but every appearance he's been fantastic.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Very unlucky. Deserves a goal after his shift tonight.

Absolutely, you'll remember the saves tho. His positional sense and ability from crosses needs work. thats my perspective as a keeper anyway.....

    late drama!!!!

There would've been fcuking murder if that went in. Why is this game still going?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,161 ✭✭✭✭M5

Fair play to stanley, they fought for absolutely everything. Typical of a tie like that. The extra class got us through in the end
