Recent set lists been very hit and miss.

An occasional return of Dead Star but closing with Starlight?

    Wtf?

Its nice that theyve finally changed the closing song, but to Starlight? Bad enough suffering it during a set, but thatd be horrible!

Set list too reliant on TSL and Rssistance tracks, which were disappointing albums as it is

Every band does it... plays there most recent material more! Its a rare occasion to meet someone who likes their newer material alot more than their old stuff!

I just don't think the new stuff works in a live/stadium environment.

When Absolution and BHAR came out, I was praying their live sets would be comprised of 8/9/10 of their respective tracks, but of their most recent output, I think only Supremacy and maybe Survival at a push, work out live

Been a long time since a post in here, lads! New song up on Youtube, album is out in June.

Seems like they've gone back to pure rock anyways. Its stripped down and I like it.

Sounds like a cross between Uprising and Roadhouse blues. I like it.

    Lyrics are woeful though.

Muses lyrics are usually woeful!! I like that they finally put the endless outro riff into a song though.

I loved hearing that riff at every gig!

It's almost likely they purposely made the lyrics ****. Really like the riff though. Reminds me of something you'd hear on Marlyn Mansons Holywood.

I like it. Sounds like something they could have wrote in about 5 minutes flat though. Look forward to the album anyway, it's about time they released something decent, I really didn't like the last 2.

    First single. Dead Inside.

Very similar to Madness and Undisclosed Desires I think but definitely benefits from tighter production & mixing.

I like it, not quite a classic Muse, but its not terrible either.

Cant wait to listen to "The Globalist" though, supposed to be the spiritual sequel to Citizen Erased

I'm meh about the song but the video is feckin' class, and not just because of boobies!!

Tis probably a bad sign that was I was more enthralled with the video than the song.

    Love both songs

'Dead Inside' is very Prince/Depeche Mode - can't stop humming it all day!

What do people make of the new album. A few decent songs but overall disappointing I think.
