Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What happens when you may get a job and yet have been waiting months for JSA?

Hey folks, I've been waiting a few months for casual JSA now, since coming off casual JSB. I continue to be on a two day week. However the good news is that from next month onwards, I may in fact get my 4-5 day week back. My question is, while I am delighted to get and accept my full week again, what happens to the money I have been waiting for? (presuming I qualify/ied) Obviously I can't claim when working a full week, but do I lose out on the time I was not - hoping not as I've incurred debt just trying to stay afloat, and have been sort of counting on this money!

You will receive any payment that you are due for the period you were working casually
provided you satisfied the means test.

Thanks for the reply. Does anyone know how to go about it though? At the moment i am submitting yellow slips weekly marking out the days I've worked, do I continue to fill these out until the money comes through (obviously marking the entire week If I am back working full-time), or do I go into them and explain when I know for sure?

Also I received a load of white slips in the post going back ten weeks, asking me to fill them all in again, marking the days I worked, but to be stamped by my employer. Is this an indication they may be about to process my claim, or some sort of check?

Continue filling in the dockets while you are working part time. Maybe contact them to see why you received duplicate dockets.
