Illness Benifit

I am currently off sick from work and will be for the next while. However my OH is on maternity benifit at the moment and recieves €270.00 per week. I have applied for Illness benifit and have been told I will recieve €196.00 and half amount for the three kids. I was wondering if I could claim my OH as a qualified adult…

Would really apprecieate any feed back that yo could provide.

You cant claim for your wife as she is on mat leave.you cant claim FIS either because you are on illness benefit but if your wife was working until her mat leave she may be entitled to FIS.
