Hey all
Land in Melbourne at 10pm in Oct - was thinkin of booking somewhere just for one night right beside the airport, purely due to it being late, heavy bag and jet lag! Cheapest place will do, don't want to shell out hundreds for one night! Anyone any suggestions - holiday inn seems to be quite close, but read somewhere that at that time (10pm) u can only check in with some swipe card at a gate?? Anyone know how reliable this is?

Alternatively, does anyone know about transport from and to the airport into th city at this time? Have been on melb airport website but can't seem to see anything? Bear in mind, jetlag and heavy bag! Not fussy if it's bus, train, tram, etc! Just anything that can get me somewhere central in Melb, near somewhere decent to stay!

A hostel will be sorted the day after, when I'll be more coherent!
