    Half a day. 10-2. Different colleges must have different ways for things. You are TCD, so they must feel HEAR need a week orientation.

    UCD are like half a day is grand for DARE. To be honest I wish it was a bit longer so I could meet a few people.

    I honestly couldn't tell you how long UCC have because going to UCC never crossed my mind throughout the year, since I am from Dublin and have lived here for 18 years.

    I think it does. My brother is going there and he says it's a week long starting Monday!

    You never contemplated moving?
    I'm from Waterford all my life but totally going to UL for college! :D

    Thats the whole freshers orientation. You come in on certain days. Some courses you come in for two days and most are just one day.

    Not really, you get more homework in 5th. 6th year is all about work, studying and exam preparation. The open days are cool and some of the fun when you graduate is cool aswell.

    I describe 6th year as the best and worst year of school combined

    About 20-25 of my year went to the DCU open day. None of the teachers noticed and we were caught messing around the local shopping centre by the dean before we left.

    Didn't get the points for TCD, might get offered it the third round. It was 445 with random selection. Also DARE wouldn't chop 95 points off it.
