Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

RAS

I went on RAS at the beginning of the year and they haven't gotten back to me with any places yet. They pretty much told me to go out and try and find my own place and convince them to go on RAS.... a bit cheeky. I haven't really found a suitable place yet, obviously I can't go for one with an agency, and nearly all of them are with an agency.

This is getting a bit tiring now. Is it worth bothering them further? Is anyone else on RAS?

My current living conditions are fairly poor, the flat gets very cold in winter and has no heating, regularly gets mice and is worn down heavily and impossible to clean.

    Oh?
What exactly do you know, what's the average wait time? Is that for a singleton, couple, family?

About 4 months in the Dublin area for a single person. I don't know about couples. Its all about luck really. You can get a relatively new house or somthing old(Dublin City Centre).

Was wondering about this myself. We are in the same boat, trying to find a place outselves, no one is interested, trying to sell the whole 4 year lease thing to them but either they dont want long term tenant or they wont drop their rent.

Been about 8 months now and nothing.

My friend is moving out of his current place as his girlfriend is away for the year, he's in college and doesn't qualify for any welfare, thinking of asking if i can arrange something there.
