    ......SO! The miners sent up a note saying everyone's grand and in reply they were told it would take 3+ months to rescue them.

    Now if the miners had have thought it through and wrote "WE'VE STRUCK OIL!!" then I'm sure they rescue would have been complete in 10 days

    Can you explain the first joke? I didn't get it. Why would they want thirty three blankets?
