Strange question, I know, but where can you get a decent breakfast in Carlow?

I've tried the cafe upstairs at Fairgreen, and it was not a pleasant experience - dry pudding, overcooked everything (probably from sitting under a heat lamp for hours), and 10 minutes walking around looking for the till so I could pay.

Any suggestions for a decent breakfast?

I was coming in to recommend that place.

I found the place to be quite nice actually..and lol, the till is right next to where you get the food..it's a natural progression.

The Whitelite canteen out by Braun has a mighty breakfast at the right price. Was always curious about those signs around saying open to public, went out one day and returned a good few times

Nope its further up Dublin St than Hennessy's, but on the same side of street. Also cant remember the name of it, but it changed hands recently and food is supposed to be very nice.

Cafe Formenti on Dublin St, best breakfast u will get.

I was doing a job around there last year for 2 weeks, and every morning without fail went there.
Top class breakfast, cute waitresses, and the chef guy always comes out for a chat and a laugh with the customers. His Enrique Iglasisas impression was a bit disturbing, but damn funny!!
But seriously hard to beat this place in Carlow.
