Antimatter

Was watching a documentary about quantum physics which discussed the existence of antimatter and stated the possibility of there being an alternative universe, mirroring our own, just made up of anti-particles.

Somewhere out there, there's a world containing all of us, mimicking our every move and thinking they are as real as we are. What an odd notion.

So in another universe somewhere, there's another me starting a thread right now in Before Hours entitled Matter.

Yeah iirc the universe could have gone either toward matter or antimatter at the start... we ended up with matter

That's a different theory.

For evry wave-function collapse, every time a particle makes a decision, the universe splits into each possibility.

So all the multiverses are comprised of matter.

If the theory holds then then there would be (mirrored) many-worlds or multiverses comprised of anti-matter.

There could be lots of universes. A multiverse if you will. And they might look like this

Membranes on top of each other. We perceive them as being in three dimensions with a fourth, time, running through. Of course according to string theory, there are 11 dimensions.

In the bigger picture, matter only makes up around 4% of the universe that we can see. The rest is dark matter and dark energy.

We're like fish in the pond. They can go anywhere they want in the pond but have no idea of the world and dimensions outside it. As far as they are concerned the pond is all that exists.
