Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum but I was just wondering if anyone on here knew of any bike shops in the dublin area that buy back bikes?
A friend of mine is looking to sell his bike, don't know how much he paid for it but its a specialized bike and it looks like its worth a few quid.
Anyway he asked me did I know of any shops so I told him i'd ask on here..

Don`t know any bike shops that openly offer to buy 2nd hand bikes. Have heard of a few been taken as a trade in but invariably the real price you get for your bike is pretty poor.Understandable i suppose as they are businesses and they`ll only take a bike in if they can readily sell it back with a profit. So your friend would be better advertising it himself. If it`s a good genuine bike and he`s realistic regarding price, he`ll have no problem selling.
