Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Happy with that clean sheet and 2 goals can't ask for too much more against Stoke.

FT, 2-0, can't help but be a little dissapointed, I suppose that's a good sign, amazing how greedy you can get after two 6-0 wins huh ? :)

yeah I agree it was a pity we didn't kick it up a gear more, but they did park the bus against us and we picked up the 3 points

Lots of great bits of skill today all the same, though Essien was excellent in the first half, had some Xavi-esque passes, Ramires looks funny, but his few touches suggested he has the confidence /composure on the ball to really settle in. Ferreira is a step above dead wood, once Bosingwa is back we wont have to rely on him to deputise any specific position yet it is handy to have him around.

Funny some of the lads (on here) were expecting this to be a tough game,
they didn't expect a lot of goals, tbh when i saw we were playing Stoke at home after beating Wigan 6-0, I expected another massacre!

Happy days. 3 points is the main thing. Good defending from the back 4.

Lamps had one of his rare off-days. Hopefully that's out of his system now.

And well done to Wigan! Nice victory for them in the ground that saw them hammered 9-1 last season!

I was confident of the win but it was never going to be a massacre, stoke are usually hold their shape fairly well and are difficult to break down. Although the two 6-0 wins were great its best not to get carried away. IMO the chelsea team were over confident today thinking they could go out and walk it the first 5 minutes showed that too.
