Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can anyobody identify any of the Irish players or have a squad numbered list from the Tournament?

Didnt realise that Joe Rafferty at Liverpool was eligible for Ireland.

Has featured for the U18s a bit this season which is a decent achievement as there is fairly strong competition at the RB at that level - one of the other 16 year-old RB's is featuring regularly enough for the reserves.

Conor Smith is the guy from Football's Next Star isn't it?

Was hoping Ethan Mannion from West Brom would have been in the squad.

It's funny seeing Michael Keane playing with Ireland and his (twin?) brother playing with England!

I never realised Will keane was his twin brother, Will is the standout though, he has a big future if he keeps playing the way he does!

Ethan Mannion is too old for this.

    Ah that's right.

He was in my sisters class in primary school and that's why I thought he was 17.

Yes, that's the Conor Smith who was on trial with Internationale.

I didn't know that either about the Keanes.

I was looking at the WBA academy results and Ethan scored for WBA. Academy is U 18's so surely he wasn't too old for this competition?

This was for players born in 1993. Mannion was born in 92.

I've seen Neil Byrne play a few a couple of times in Youths game for Forest, he's solid but don't think he'll make our first team....hope he proves me wrong.

Sean McCaffrey won't have his contract renewed at end of the year.

    http://www.fai.ie/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=101202:sean-mccaffreys-contract-as-u17-18-and-19-manager-not-renewed&catid=4:under-19&Itemid=12

"The Football Association of Ireland today (August 30) confirmed that the Under-17, 18 and 19 manager, Sean McCaffrey, will not have his contract renewed with the Association when it expires at the end of this calendar year......

"John Morling, the current Under-15 / 16 head coach, and former Peterborough United manager, will now become the Under-16 / 17 head coach and Niall Harrison will be appointed as new Under-15 head coach. Morling will take charge of the Under-17 squad for the first time at the first phase of the UEFA Under-17 championship qualifiers, starting on September 25 against Malta.

The Under-18 and Under-19 position will be advertised from tomorrow and a new head coach will be appointed ahead of the first phase of the UEFA Under-19 championship qualifiers, starting on October 7 against Luxembourg in Bulgaria....... "

And just to ask again, can anyone identify any of these players, thanks
