Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A lot of sidewards passing so far. Would like to see us be more direct.

http://www.saidfoot.com/Chaine_1.php working now, not great, but other streams have stopped

Still playing with ten men in our own half most of the time.

When we do get the odd counter attack it comes to nowt as there are no numbers in the Albion half.

Torres not looking right, needs a goal

Norticably rigid two lines of 4 when WBA have the ball, Torres nearly released by Milan J

Paul Scharner is at Anfield today also.

Concerned how deep our first line of defenders are sitting when we don't have the ball and are defending. Seem to be totally conceeding the middle of the park.

Yep we have played each game this season very much in the manner that Houllier set out his teams.

Two deep lines of four that try to play long balls to the star striker.

It is making Albion look like the home team today.

Bit of a mix up in the Albion box there with the CB getting the ball ahead of Carson.

that was a foul on torres!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Save by Pepe after a bit of Albion pressure.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,492 ✭✭✭MementoMori

Poulsen doens't seem to want to leave his own half.

Agger showing his inexperience at LB there.

Shocking he nearly wrestled him to the ground

24 minutes gone and still sitting very deep.

No midfield battle at all as Albion pretty much have control in midfield.

Seriously? He's versatile but I don't see where he'd fit into our squad

Not helping that Agger is getting little cover from those in front of him.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,492 ✭✭✭MementoMori

So the creative plan is hoof it up towards Torres and let him do the rest.:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 25,560 ✭✭✭✭Kess73

Making West Brom look far better than what they actually are.

    Real turtle tactics.

Liverpool keep running them selves into trouble with there short passin. Pump it up the field and move up ffs.

Not having sopcast is criminal at this stage for stream watchers, especially for europe league teams who will play sundays a fair bit.

    sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/6816

This game is pretty shocking so far, west brom almost dominating.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 4,210 ✭✭✭argosy2006

need to keep it in midfield for few passes,
we get it play it up to torres, lose it and repeat,

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,629 ✭✭✭magma69

Get that steaming pile of **** that is Poulsen off the pitch.

Bring on Babel or N'Gog and stick them up front. We're at home after all, West Brom are not good, we should be playing them off the park.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

I wonder could Meireles come on at half time? He is a driving sort of midfielder, Lucas and Poulson are a sort of footballing black-hole.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,487 ✭✭✭Mister men

I have to say the signs are'nt good at all here. No creative play to speak of in the first half. Gerrard seems to have taken up where he left off last season and i don't trust our back line (Reina aside) at all.
