Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Where exactly are you lads watching the game? Any stream Ive tried since the beginning of the game has been abysmal! I think I average 5 seconds viewing every 3 minutes. Oh well, almost over now anyway.

    If West Brom had Torres up front I'd say they would have won this, which says it all about how we performed today.

    Can't shake the feeling we won this in spite of Roy's tactics and team selection not because of it.

    Get the feeling it could be a long season.

    I'll take it.

    Does nothing to dispel my fears that we are in for a long hard season. We didn't deserve the win but feck it, that's the way it goes when you have a beast like Nando in your team! :D

    Another lacklustre peformance, very little creativity, but we just about deserved the 3 points. Should have had a penalty, but West Brom could have had one too. And the sending off was a joke, clear yellow card only.

    Hopefully with the new signings and Cole back soon we will never have to field that team again.


    If this starts off a good run I'll be happy, but the style of play has to change. What happened to pass and move?

    dont think we deserved anything out of that game... grateful for the 3pts...

    no creativity what so ever.... we mostly go through the middle, no width at all.

    it's going to be a long hard season... I can see us drawing a lot of games :(

    we need to purchase some wingers quick.... hopefully the team will be better when we can field cole and that new midfielder.

    It really is silly playing Poulsen and Lucas together in midfield and playing 1 up front...save that formation for the better teams...

    I never want to see a Lucas/Poulsen partnership again. Atrocious. Both players particularly poor today. When they pass the ball they just stand still and don't contribute at all to our attack which is why we had about only 2 shots on target. Gerrard and Johnson's passing was poor also. Jovanovic, again, was a disappointment
