Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hello i am new to this boards.ie so hello folks..well anybody out there can give me a bit advice on the takamine eg340sc guitar 6 string....i am about to buy one soon..any info would be greatful .i.e. sound action etc etc..
    whats your views folks on thsi guitar..many thanks !!! :D

    Takamine are generally pretty good acoustics, so are always worth getting.
    A band-mate of mine has bought 2 of the last couple of years and they sound terrific(not the same model as yours though).
    The action is specific to each guitar really afaik, so best to get your hands on the one you want if you can and try it out.

    As Gaspode said the action is different on each. I had a tan15 model and it was the best guitar I ever played, can't recommend them enough.

    Rather than buy online, try play one before you buy
