    Hi, does anyone know when you get confirmation on whether you get the Maintenance grant or not and how much?...

    Also i am entitled to teh top up grant on top of the orginal 1,300, anyone know if there is a seperate form for that or if it is just the same form and based on that and that they will know family circumstances etc....?

    Best to ask your local VEC, it will depend on how many applications they have to get through and where yours is in line.

    The top up is not seperate you will be informed if your getting it when you get approved for the first bit.

    If things change for you then you can apply using the change of circumstances form.
