Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all

I rarely post on this site but i felt that i should inform cyclists in the laois area about my experience this morning. A friend and i went for a spin and had a driver become quite aggressive and aggitated towards us. The driver stopped after going by us and words were exchanged. He then decided to pull in further up the road, saying that he had informed the gardai. We cycled on after this. What he failed to tell us was that he had informed another family member who was waiting up the road about 1 km in a ford transit. This guy would not let us past and was becoming quite agressive towards us. I also rang the gardai myself and they duly arrived after awhile and the issue was resolved. Luckly there was two of us as this could have been a horrible experience if cycling alone. The guy in the transit made comment about previous cyclists on the road annoying him. He drives a purple transit and from my experience,he is a nasty piece of work. This occured within the mountrath area. I know i will be putting the number of my local garda station in my phone from now on in case it ever happens again.

Why did he ring the Gardai and what did he say when they arrived? He sounds like a complete idiot.
