Hello everyone! I know this is property a strange request, but I'd appreciate any help.

When I was outside earlier, I must have landed on my phone (Nokia 6300) or something, as the screen is not working. The actual phone still works as I'm listening to the radio now and I was talking to my Dad earlier. I'm not really too bothered about this, however, the phone is on silent so I can't tell when I'm receiving a call.

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to get to the Settings and change the profile back to normal. I would appreciate any help.

Here's a picture of the phone:

make sure keypad is not locked (pressing buttons makes the keys light up)

click the power button on the top of the phone quickly

press down on the d-pad once

    press ok (center button)

    That will select general

does the button under the 9 not activate/deactivate silent mode? try pressing that and holding it for a few secs and listen did you hear a sound :)

Thanks a million mate! I just did that there - I'll try it out in the morning to see if it worked.

Out of interest, what would it cost to get the screen fixed?

I had two spare 6300 lying around, if i still have one, i will send it on to you. Otherwise a screen replament on the 6300 will cost feck all, roughly €20.

Really? That would be great. I'd really appreciate it. No worries if you can't though.
