Purple Beech hedge from seed

Two lovely old copper/purple beech trees not far from my house and they look lovely at present and have lots of seeds on them. I am planning to harvest those seeds and see if I can grow enough to plant a copper/purple beech hedge. Need lots of advice .... how to harvet seed and when and how to plant etc. Cash starved…
