New Rezoning Changes Requests and Several One-Off Houses on Dublin Mountains

    A loby group is trying to get relaxed the laws on One-Off housing in some of the most scenic areas of Dublin mountains.:(

    A freind of mine living there is very concerned about this as he has seen other hillsides in the area lost to this kind of development.


    Have any of you any views on this - or know any councellers etc that might want to get involved in oposing any changes to the current delvelopment laws in that area.

    Aparently there is no group so far objecting to this loby group....

    The vote is on this September 6th - so anyone who wants to have their say should do so promptly.

    There is a thread in the Dublin city forum about how the DCC have decided that outward spread is better than hi-rise and are banning all buildings above a certain height :(

    Check it out, the a council rep posting in it who may be of help to you too
