Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Think I remember Babel giving out that he was better playing up front not long ago.

    Liverpool fans would argue otherwise.

I seen him play a good few times for Ajax as a striker and he is far better in that position. Benitez had other views though. But then, he generally did

Sky News are reporting that Birmingham have signed Marcus Bent on loan from Wolves, not the other way around. They really they do not care about teams outside the top 8 to get their facts right.

his goalscoring record at ajax suggests he wasn't a striker, he had a goal 1 every 5 games there

If I was a footballer I'd definitely spend transfer day moving around various airports etc getting reporters excited. Think of the stir Rooney or Torres could cause being spotted in London. Would be great craic altogether.

And if you had a twin you could cause all sorts of havoc.

Phillip Degen does have an identical twin and we all know what havoc that resulted in.:o

Also on a related havoc causing note some people were saying that a couple of grand would be enough to shift the next manager odds at Villa and that's what happened with Moyes to move his odds so much.

Given the wages those footballers are on £5k on a wind-up aint that much and who knows given the way football seems to work it might even have a shout of coming off.

I can only assume it was the twin playing for you posing as the professional footballer from what I saw of him? :pac:

im waiting to board a plane to england at dublin airport. ive just seen Shay Given board a private jet to the right of the old pier D. he pulled up in a blacked out car right up to the plane area.

i am of course joking, but if we put out a story like this, i guarantee you it would hit the headlines very quickly

Sky Sports say that Fulham are hoping to push through a loan deal for Roma goalie Doni. Does that mean Schwarzer to Arsenal is back on? It would give them a far better shot at winning the league if so.

Fulham are denying this according to SSN. Getting very close to the wire now.
