Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Query about holidays and starting new job

    Hi,

    I recently requested two weeks holidays from the social welfare office, and in the mean time I've been offered a job in the UK starting just after my holidays end.

    I've been told to collect the social welfare payments for this period after my holidays, but I can't as I'll be in the UK starting my new job.

    Is it possible for the social welfare office to lodge the money into my account, rather than me having to collect it in person? Or can I get someone to collect it for me? I'd just like to have an idea of what they'll say when I go in to explain.
