Guess ya didn't read the OP, Gig of the year that was on IRISH SOIL

    KISS at the 02
    Y&T

WASP still to come, so I'll formally vote for them too after the gig (if it's anything like last year's show), if a man can vote twice.

Rage at the O2 was outstanding

You can vote for as many as ya like, but please only pick a truly outstanding and mindblowing gig. Just a Good/Great gig doesn't cut it i'm afraid

At the end of December, i'll put the top 10 nominations in a poll and people can vote ONLY ONCE for the gig of the year.

    Totally Awesome....
Machine Head in February, Motley Crue at the Sonisphere Festival (I know, not Ireland, but still...), Fear Factory, the first four songs of Guns N' Roses set in Dublin:D

    *Awaits abuse*

    In order of awesomeness

    Garcia Plays Kyuss @ ALT
    RAtM @ The Point
    Fear Factory @ The Academy
    Iron Maiden @ The Point
    Cannibal Corpse @ The Academy
Limp Bizkit (what for the craic BTW) @ Olympia

All very good! Was at a couple of non-Metal gigs that were just as good this year but no point in listing. I am looking forward to a couple of other gigs too, but as requested, I need not post them (they're Napalm Death & Decapitated BTW :p)!

RATM at the Point - place was hopping that night
Slash at Vicar St - even allowing for Myles' flu
    Iron Maiden was impressive too
Really enjoyed GnR when they finally got on stage

I think Machine Head/Hatebreed thing in the olympia was really something special.

Although Maiden was a great gig this year, I don't think it was !amazing! and have seen better maiden shows. *Tenses and awaits abuse*

That's exactly the sort of thing we want, I was at the Maiden gig, and although it was very very good i'd stop short of saying it was an Amazing and one of the best gigs i've ever been too.

Anybody been to any more gigs recently?

    Remember the stipulations

    1. Must have been a mind blowing awesom gig, good just won't cut it
    2. Must have taken place on Irish soil
