Woohoo! Yes folks, the only thing that I missed when I ditched the iPhone is now available on the Android platform.

seems they have made it general release due to the demand. available on the market from friday it seems... suppose thats USA friday and we have to wait til the afternoon! :mad:

Already have in on my iPad and iPhone. Don't think I'll be buying it again for my Galaxy but great to see it as it's an addictive little game.

Yeah I thoguth that was it and only i make a point of reading comments, I could have been duped! as i'd say a few have. altho the refund option would take care of this right ?

The market comments are hilarious but I can't understand all of these people that install random apps, and then leave juvenile comments when they find it's not quite what they...er ...weren't even looking for.

EDIT: I was looking at 'Angry Birds Pissed', forgot to fake my provider to find paid apps. :rolleyes:

You have to have the app you want to comment on installed to comment on it. In the Market app, go to Downloads and in the About tab of the app you want to comment on, tap on the stars to rate it and you'll get an additional Post a Comment prompt.

I'm playing angry birds as we speak. Search rovio in the market. It said 0 downloads when I got it. Think i might have been the first to download it :eek:

What version of Android and what screen resolution? They might have an effect on what's available on the market.

Android 1.6 and 320x480 found an .apk online
Going to try it now, complaining it's out of space.
Deleting some apps now.

I see now why it probably is disabled.
Extremly buggy and am lucky to get to the main menu.
Can't get any further and lots of force closes.

It probably needs 2.1 or higher. Guess i'll have to wait.:(

Edit - seems it is available to offical 2.1 Heros but not custom roms

Is this going to be available for htc legend? OH picked up a legend today because iphone 4 was too pricey, hoping to be able to play this game (she got addicted to it on my iphone), but it's not showing up in the market.

I've tried downloading it, and just can't.
It gets to anything from 6% to 97% and then says it fails to install.
The whole download is really slow though.
I've no problem updating all my other apps at the same time if needed,
so it seems to be able to contact the market.

I've a Meteor HTC Desire, rooted and running a Modaco Froyo with an ext partition on SD, so space doesn't seem to be an issue.
I've tried it both over Mobile data, and via wifi.
Also tried it with Market set to Meteor (my carrier) and to T-Mobile and 3 UK, my preferred "Enabler" choices. Doesn't seem to change anything.

Anyone else experienced anything like this ?

Not a bad game at all. Crashes more than I'd like (Desire, 2.2) but it is a beta, so I can't complain! Next mission is to get 3 stars on all levels.
