    Location and they do the course i wanted to do, no point going further away and costing my parents a small fortune in the process :)

    Much the same as that, close to home but still get to live away from home and they had the course I wanted. I had Galway as 2nd choice but Letterkenny was just easier all round

    Close enough to live at home yet far enough to get the non-adjacent grant ;)
    Got into a similar course in Galway but I'd have needed a second job to survive down there.

    I picked LYIT because I was bored and couldn't decide what country to go travelling in next/what to do with my life.

    Then I bloody got accepted (:eek::confused:) and thought....hey J1 Visa to America next summer if I stick out the year :cool:


    Really would have liked Galway but knew I would end up drinking and socialising alot down there and failing the course! LYIT is safer :pac:
