    Still 14.8c but temperature is dropping now though it was 17c after 9pm

    Tomorrow promises 21 or 22c

    Could hit 23 on one of the next few days if a place is lucky.

    An unmentioned blob of rain has sneaked up to the Southwest coast of Ireland and some breakdown in conditions is probable for the weekend.

    Just looking at the rainfall figures for Kilkenny - Oak Park (nearest to me) less than half last years summer totals, I'd wager in Waterford City its even less again. Pity we have no station here.

    Only started recording on July 8th but since then we had 135.9mm. Most of this fell in July with very little falling in August. June was very dry also so overall a very dry summer for us compared to the last 3 years :)

    21.7c max yesterday.

    May tip 22 today if this sun keeps up but I think cloud is lurking on the coast. Well see.

    Warmest day we have had for a long time, peaked at 24.1c around 16.00 today. still 17.9c now. Had a days fishing in Clew bay, ive turned a shade of black!!
