    Must be a hell of a big storm because it's raining here too. :D

    That's not really why I posted, just wanted to remind all weather obs posters that you should make sure to identify where your observation was made -- most have a location with their username, and a few remember to add this in their comments where necessary, but I see two or three posts today without locations. These are less helpful to the forum readers, who have to guess where you are.

    after a cloudless start(6.30am)clouds gathered and now it's tipping it down again,river boyne is close to bursting(definitely will when all the rain waters come down)
    14.8c and wet.

    on another note,bad start to our soccer season,our pitch is flooded and almost certain game on Saturday will be off :mad:

    52mm of rain since yesterday in Sligo.

    We always get lots in September but this seems particularly bad.

    We are getting a good soaking here in Limerick city, it has been raining since some time through the night and has yet to stop for more than 5 mins at a time.

    17.0c here with sunny spells. Have only had 1mm of rain in the last 24hrs. Dark clouds to our north but don't think that shower is coming our way.

    Following a soggy start, the day has brightened up considerably in Galway. Broken cloud, sunshine and a pleasant 17C :)
