back packing in australia !!!

hi folks!!! was thinking of going back packing in australia , but see the problem im a virgin back packer . dont have a clue what to bring as in clothes , footwear, medicals , electronics ect . im just wondering what are the things that a girl needs to bring , for a safe and enjoyable trip ?
