Thinking of going back to college next September as a mature student. What is involved in applying as a mature student. I want to do something in the Sciences. Would be more confortable with a Level 6/7 than a level 8. Comfortable with Physics, Chemistry, Maths etc but not biology. Is there anything at level 6/7 where I…

Have a look at this thread: http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055676871 It has tips on applying as a mature student.

If you want to do Science, a general Science degree would be good. You can choose a lot of your modules I think. Or you could try doing a pre-university science course which would be FETAC level. A one year course which would give you a feel for some of the different areas in Science.

Just get looking at the different university websites and download or order a prospectus.
