Here is the problem, when they really were Guns and Roses Axl would do this all of the time. Slash and Iggy would cover for him by jamming in the meantime until he calmed down and returned.

Now you've got a rent-a-band on stages that very few people care about.

That's contrary to what EVERYONE else is saying!

Apparently they didn't come on til 10.30...O2 curfew is 11. People started booing, he got a pint thrown at him, refused to play again until booing stopped, got a bottle thrown at him and then walked off.
