Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a problem with this TV it's only about 15 months old, when I turned it on tonight nothing happened blank screen and the red light was on and it won't turn to green. I'd say there's something badly wrong with it, anyone with any ideas before I get rid of it.

Uhm, well, I don't suggest getting rid of it.

If it's only 15 months old, it should not be written off. I'd expect more time than that from such a young TV. The fact it won't fire up suggest it might be a power board issue, but it's hard to tell.

Get onto Sony, or the retailer you bought it from. 15 months is not acceptable.

Does sound as if it is a pb issue.

I had a kdl46x3000 that had to get a replacement panel which was 4 months outside warrenty (picture distorted for the 1st 20mins of use then reverted back to normal)....because I kicked up so much fuss with both sony and my local sony centre, they covered the cost (800 euros). Long wait for repair however, about 2 and a half weeks but was collected at the door and dropped back.

The w5500's are a great set so stand firm and give out stink.

Thanks lads I brought it to a Sony Centre and they think it could be something small, but I'll have to wait and see, I think I'll give Sony a ring and give then a piece of my mind.
