    Hi Folks, I'm looking for a laptop for the girlfirend for her birthday.

    Does anyone know where would be the best place be to get one?

    I know thats quite a generalised question but if anyone has seen any deals/sales could you let me know, cheers.

    Yip, im looking for a good deal on a laptop too for nephew, heading off to college.
    I saw the tesco flyer today, notebook selling for 399 or 499, plenty of memory too, looks alright.

    no need for bells and whistles
    just a decent device with enough memory that will suffice

    Nothing too fancy, main use would be internet browsing and Microsoft Office
